  • Pride & Prejudice With Some Lust Thrown In

After reading Pride & Prejudice & Zombies I had to read the original and watch the BBC serial. Well I've now got my feet up watching Mr Darcy and Elizabeth dancing about and I can't help but think... phwoar! There is something about real ladies and gentlemen [all be it staged ones] that makes ones bosom heave.

So I'm enjoying my step back in time, although now the desire to dance and curtsey is overwhelming. Well Lizzie is off to Kent so I'll have to start paying attention... and we all know why!

  • Piece Of Peace

Another week to myself. Not quite sure what to do with it, last night the girls came over and we had dinner and a gossip. Today is being spent vegging out, nice soak in the bath, reading, watched a film and now I'm back on here trying to find something slightly more constructive to do. Which obviously isn't going very well!

I need a project of some description, any ideas?

  • Imagination

Thank you for all the wonderful birthday messages yesterday it was really lovely of you all.

I had a fantastic card that had a quote from Oscar Wilde on the front. "Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination". They know me too well... inside they had just written "hows your imagination?" Well unfortunately for my means its very good!

  • Life Imitates Art

Coming home from Wimbledon I was travelling by tram, I couldn't help but look down the carriage and contemplate how similar it looked to a tube/train in an American film just before the lights start flickering and it crashes. And then the lights started flickering and I got a bit twithcy but it was only that the PA system was broken. All we were missing was a nun and pregnant woman and we could have made our own film.

  • Once More Unto The Blog

Well the summer is over, the students are all back at uni or proper jobs and I am once more a social pariah. There is always a silver lining though, more time to spend on blog!

I've been looking at lots of things I can get up to. Joining a gym is on the list. This is a bit weird for me as I've always said I wouldn't waste the money on it but good company and fun activities are sounding good. I think I might have to lose a bit more weight before I go to the gym though, stupid isn't it!! Every time I go past it though they are looking a bit attractive and slim... very off putting!!
