Thank you lovely clock change, I had a lay in and I was still up early! So far I have prepared all the vegetables, browned my beef, and finished the cheesecake. The beef is now simmering in homemade stock [well mostly homemade 
] and will be ready at around 2pm so long as I remember how long to cook potatoes!
It's been a fun morning, I watched a couple more episodes of NCIS and had bagels for breakfast. Then I did some washing up and preparing along to music and sang round the kitchen... there may have also been some dancing. I also had some strawberries over so I scoffed them!
Now a bit of chillin out until the girls get here. As a joke I've got an apron that S brought me as a tacky souvenir. A tacky souvenir in my book has to be one that is awful and not useful... well I've been cooking in it this morning so we'll show her!
