There were a surprising number of people at the cinema this morning, it was already up to twenty one degrees when we got there. Thank god for air conditioning in the cinema.
I loved the movie. Heath Ledger's performance was the best acting I've seen in a while. He did psycho really well. To be honest with you, even though I enjoyed the whole movie the only bits that are still vivid in my mind are the scenes with the Joker and Harvey Dent. I don't think there was a single bit where I was really getting anything from Christian Bale.
I've been looking at reviews and its one extreme to the other. Either they loved Heath Ledger's performance or they hated it. Obviously I thought it was great and I definitely think its an Oscar winning performance. I think there'll be a bit of pressure to give him an award to celebrate his life and career, but he really does deserve it. Hell he deserves an award just for his acting while dressed as a nurse in it and all his "crazy" ticks.

I also saw a load of trailers that I want to go and see. Then I was surfing around IMDB and found some more that I'll be popping to the cinema to see.
Zohan - Looks ridiculous... but I like ridiculous.
The Mummy 3 - I haven't seen Jet Li in anything too dubious so this should be alright.
Get Smart - Bit of dumb humour.
Space Chimps - Patrick Warburton cracks me up.
Tropic Thunder - More daft humour.
X Files 2 - The truth is still out there.
Hellboy 2 - Its got to be better than the first.
RockNRolla - New Guy Ritchie.
Midnight Meat Train - The more I see Vinnie the more I like his acting.
Disaster Movie - New spoof.
Babylon AD - Not sure what this ones about but I really like the poster!
Traitor - Don Cheadle, brilliant actor.
Eagle Eye - Billy Bob, Shia and Rosario, all great actors.
Blindness - Sounds intriguing.
How To Lose Friends & Alienate People - Simon Pegg.
City Of Embers
Quarantine - Haven't seen a trailer of this, if its like Cloverfield I wont bother.
Passengers - Sounds mysterious.
Madagascar Escape 2 Africa - I love a good animation.
Day The Earth Stood Still - Remake... hmm... we'll see.
Yes Man - Danny Wallace is a genius anyway so if its based on his book it should be good.
