That was a tiring day, but enjoyable.
So here's a list of everything I brought:
- Some of that eye gel I saw on the television.
- Swimming costume
- Two skirts
- Black top (a one shoulder number so can't wear it in the sun)
- Underwear (functional type not for entertaining)
- A travel wash bag and make up bag
- Some purple pens
- Some Fathers Day goodies
- A travel journal for when I go away
- Some fancy chocolate from Hotel Chocolat
Okay so I know the chocolate is a bit naughty but its only six chocolates and they're so damn yummy.
I did quite well and managed to get one of the things I went for. I tried really hard to get the black trousers but it was impossible. Everything was either linen, cropped or made of that really awful synthetic material. We had a nice lunch in Nandos and contemplated what acceptable wedding attire was these days. The conclusion? We have no idea, pretty much anything as long as you look smart and don't clash with the bride.
When we finally got back to the car we were shattered. I ended up having a bit of a snooze. It was a great day, although I was appalled by the drivers on the motorway. People on their mobiles and eating while they drive, are they mad? Most of them were driving faster than we were and we were going 70 most of the way.
