Well we had a good day, nice sunny day and some fun to be had. I don't think there was as much to do this year as the last time we went but there were certainly more things there. Mainly stalls selling things and an army demonstration area.

So we have the first of my picture (all taken on my mobile phone so a bit iffy quality wise). These were in the army area. There was also a second, yellow, helicopter that you could actually go for a ride in. As you can see there are people in the tank... I refrained from getting in it just in case I got the urge to shoot someone!

A few of the fairground rides, I love merry-go-rounds but I thought I'd look a bit stupid if I went on and didn't have a child with me!

I know some of you like vehicles so I took a wander around the "yard" area to see what I could find. Something old and something new! I don't think that hot pink was that cars original colour though.

This was the petting zoo portion of the day, as you can see lots of cute animals. I was really hoping that the chicks were going to attack the kids finger but no such luck!

The last lot here are of the other animals out and about. We didn't get to see the bird of prey show but I don't think we missed much as it was next to impossible to see anything. The turtle was being followed around by a woman we spent most of her time picking him up and turning him around again. The ferret man had one of his little guys on a lead so that was rather confusing seeing a ferret and expecting a dog.
The dog agility as ever was funny as the owners were much more excited about it than the dogs. There was one that kept on sitting down looking into that material tube run, there was not a chance that one was going in. There was also a trained dog show and they were better, well most of them were. One guy had a smaller dog not really sure of the breed, it looked like a daschund but was about the size of long legged jack russell. Everytime the guy sat it down in line with the other dogs it was fine, as soon as he turned his back it'd be up and trotting towards him... possible a comedy show?!

It looks like a great day and lovely sunshine xx
